It’s been almost two and a half weeks since we attended Anime Expo at the Los Angeles convention center for the third consecutive year, and our first time participating in Artist Alley. As you can imagine we were thrilled and nervous at the same time since we did not know what to expect.
Fortunately, we had a terrific time and we met so many fantastic people, and with that being said, we would like to take this time to thank everyone who helped us out in preparation for the big event. And of course our table neighbors all around us for being so awesome and nice to us!
Day 1
The first day was a little troublesome, as we did not know our table number or location, so it was a mission for us to figure it out. After going up and down the stairs a few times asking for help from several different staff members (they were all really nice), we finally managed to get someone to show us where our table was located. After all that off we went to setup our displays and make everything look fabulous and shinny.
Here we have one half of Shoudou Magic, Maki, and our friend, Miguel.
You can see all the excitement in Miguel's eyes!
We decided to split the days in shifts since we all couldn't be at the table at once, which was a great plan because that gave everyone equal time to walk around, shop and hunt for great cosplayers :D While Maki and Nayo took over the first shift in the morning, Miguel and myself went off to shoot some cosplayers.
